[NVRG] Concourse layout, Tuesday , June 6th

Troops,

 

Putting out a call for help to layout the concourse field on the lower
parking lot of the Westfields Marriott on Tuesday,  June 6th.  Meet after
lunch, say 1:00.

 

The lot is charted by car years.  All categories Dearborn, Touring, Rouge,
etc.,  will be parked together by year group.  We have enough room to give
each car a space and a half on the field.  Wide duct tape will be placed on
the asphalt to indicate where the car will be centered.  The car's
registration number will be applied with a Sharpie after it is parked.
There will be a Headquarters tent at the entrance to the Concourse to direct
cars to the proper parking area - lined up first come first placed.  As the
cars are positioned, they are than plotted on the chart.

 

With this configuration, the Touring people are not regulated to a "second
class" status away from the center of activity - they are mingled with the
others of their years.

 

Volunteers are needed to place the duct tape, set up the canopy and place
signs on Tuesday.

 

Also, the HDQ tent has to be manned on Wednesday and Thursday to position
the cars.  This can be done in shifts with two members each.
