questions about distributions

I have not installed Corel, so my information comes from a couple of 
sources. A friend who has been evaluating SuSE, Red Hat and Corel found 
that it was, really "stripped down". In a recent review of Linux, C/NET 
chose Corel for new Linux users. I was not able to locate the original 
article on the CNET site, but I did find an edited copy on the Corel site. 
I think there really is a need in the Linux community for distributions to 
be easily installable by novice computer users. One of the problems is that 
Linux does have a lot of choices, such as display and windows managers. 
Right now, I personally think that Red Hat (6.1) and SuSE(6.3) are the best 
distributions. But, for the end user coming directly from Windoz, Corel or 
Caldera may be better.
