[Discuss] Problem converting site from HTTP to HTTPS

When you use the search box in Windows Explorer (file manager), by default,
it searches the contents of files that it can read, not just the file
names and it does so recursively through the folder tree. It's usually a
pain in the butt because it takes longer than a name search but in this
case it helped find the issue.

I went to the root web site folder, then entered "http:<url>" and the files
popped up. I never would have expected a SQL query to have a static URL but
there it was.

I didn't really want to replace the entries on my Windows box, I just
needed to find them. I then went onto my web server and updated them using
vi.

In answer to your question, I don't believe you can do a global search and
replace on a group of files in Windows (without a third party application)
but I may be wrong.
