Jerry, (cc: &al)
The BlueTooth boomless headset brand that i mentioned during the
meeting is *Morpheus
360.*
Mine are an older model, HP4500. A possibly updated HP4500*R* is
marked-down from $30 to $20 on their website; it quotes 10 hours listening
time.
I've used the boomless vestigial mike for a phonecall or Jitsi/Zoom when it
was the headset that was available and it was ok, but signal report was not
to the best standard, so i prefer to use my corded boom headset when i care
and expect to be talking.
Microcenter currently has M360 HP550R @ $25, M-360 Eclipse HP9250B Active
Noise Cancelling B/T for $70; and 6 other models (all reported 1 to 4 in
stock in Cambridge).
They also have M-360 brand B/T earbuds, quoting "up to" 40 hours - for $50.
Drilling in, that says 40 hours *play time*, so does talking shorten it?
IDK! Key tho is it says 7 hours of play time on a *single* charge - so the
keeper box has 40 hours in it, not the earbuds?!
Support our local brick & mortar!
(Sorry for the delay, I had to both remember to go look *and* remember why
i had looked.)
