Even if one doesn't want to dual boot, even if one CAN disable secure boot
[which may be easy or not], there's still a reason to want to use Secure
boot with Ubuntu or whatever -- it will provide an added layer of
protection from malware for you Linux, just as it does for Windows.
(The malware is unlikely to target the shim's over-trustingness.]
