I haven't tested your site, but I do have experience supporting website
compatibility... My experience is, yes every single browser and OS platform
cause compatibility problems with even the most basic and well-defined
standard compliant of websites (sometimes even static html.) There is
precisely one way you can find out: Test every browser on every platform
that you care about supporting. Anything you don't test will have
compatibility problems, I promise you.
This is precisely the job that Virtualization was made for. ;-) So you can
launch your WinXP, test with IE, Firefox, and Chrome. Then launch your
Win7, test with another version of IE, Firefox, and Chrome. There's only
one way to test the mac - you have to have a mac somewhere. Test safari,
firefox, and chrome. Then you've got some linux box somewhere... Firefox
and Chrome for sure, and maybe at least one more...
Browser compatiblity sucks, and it's a time vortex.
And then your customers ask you, "Can you move this a pixel to the left?"
and "Can you make that pink just a shade lighter?" And you say "No. And
move your head slightly to change the color, or use a different laptop."
