bash - ignore dot files for autocompletion?

Google claims that if you're doing this in .bashrc, you should do:
bind 'set match-hidden-files off'
You could also try setting FIGNORE="svn", but this will keep you from
completing any file that ends in svn, so that may not be what you want.
