Blocking a URL

Every once in a while I get a new Firefox window, primarily
content.pulse360.com. I have tried to use adblock to block this URL
explicitly (*.pulse360.com). It's just annoying. dig pulse360.com
I certainly could block the IP address in my firewall, but I want to be
able to block the alpha URL if they are using rotating IP addresses.
