I have an iLiad that I like well enough, and a friend is going to pass on her Kindle DX to me when she gets her iPad, and those are suitable substitutes for print until the real revolution comes along. That's just it. E-Books are not the revolution to print that iPod and other MP3 players were to music. They're just the stop-gap until the real revolution happens. They may be the springboard that makes the revolution possible, much as CD-DA made the digital music revolution possible, but they are not themselves the revolution.
