to sas or not...

Hi All,

I'm having to buy a server which I'll install Linux for my job. Reading 
through the dell server page, I realized that I've fallen behind in my 
disk technology knowledge, with the advent of SAS. So I'm wondering if I 
should be weary of getting a server with SAS controllers. Is linux up to 
date with all the SAS drivers? Does anyone have experience with SAS vs SATA?
