RSync backup issue

Hi Chris,
I'm pretty sure the solution was presented in this thread. I routinely
back up my home (Fedora 11) and work (RHEL 5.2) using rsnapshot which
uses rsync as root with ssh keys.
I have my ~root set up with a .ssh subdirectory and a couple of
authorized keys. You also need to make sure that the permission of the
=2Essh directory is 700 as is your ~root directory otherwise ssh with
reject your keys.
You can also create keys on a Windows system with PuttyGen (supplied
with WinSCP).
