Not if your distro's kernel people aren't extensively testing it and
don't have the chops to fix issues themselves, it isn't. (Yes, that's
a thinly veiled shot at Canonical... ;)
I have multiple machines that have been running with ext4 filesystems
for quite some time, very few problems to speak of. Its the default fs
in Fedora 11, and its pretty damned solid there.
