Some channels, yes. All the over-the-air stuff and a mish-mash of other 
stuff (most of which I don't care about). Most of the good stuff that 
isn't over-the-air is encrypted QAM. But of that, at least half of it 
comes off the firewire port on my cable box unencrypted.
