Simple HDTV viewer?

For the old-style cable systems, I made use of a software cable TV
decoder and descrambler about 8-10 years ago.  I forget the name of
the software, and it may have been updated since then, but it ran on
Linux and with a patched driver, you could decode HBO and Showtime.  I
remember that the kid I got the card from gave it to me for $50.  I'm
pretty sure is was a BT* chipset.  I would be very interested if
anyone knows the name of this software.  It has a short, terse
one-word name.  I want to say it was called fscktv, or something like
that...
