Agreed here. Courts are always slow by their very nature. The issues
are whether Vonage (and other VOIP providers) actually used Verizon
patents. Certainly, if they are able to severely restrict the number of
VOIP users, they will do better.

Former government sanctioned. Certainly, AT&T was a government
regulated monopoly what was broken up back in the early '80s. They
still have the monopolistic mentality, and are not shy to try to use
government to protect their interests.
