I have a Palm tungsten T and would like to connect to jpilot on Ubuntu
fiesty. I don't know the proper device to use. My palm is connected
to USB.
Here is a list of my Ubuntu usb drives before hitting the hotsync on the Palm
usbdev1.1_ep00 usbdev2.1_ep81 usbdev2.2_ep81 usbdev4.1_ep00
usbdev1.1_ep81 usbdev2.2_ep00 usbdev3.1_ep00 usbdev4.1_ep81
usbdev2.1_ep00 usbdev2.2_ep01 usbdev3.1_ep81
Here is a list of my Ubuntu usb drives after hitting the hotsync on the Palm
usbdev1.1_ep00 usbdev1.2_ep02 usbdev2.1_ep81 usbdev3.1_ep00
usbdev1.1_ep81 usbdev1.2_ep81 usbdev2.2_ep00 usbdev3.1_ep81
usbdev1.2_ep00 usbdev1.2_ep82 usbdev2.2_ep01 usbdev4.1_ep00
usbdev1.2_ep01 usbdev2.1_ep00 usbdev2.2_ep81 usbdev4.1_ep81
I tried using symlink
sudo ln -s /dev/usbdev1.2_ep00 /dev/pilot
but no cigar
It seems that all my permissions are enabled for all users
jmkramer at till:/dev$ ls -la pilot
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 19 2007-06-22 16:32 pilot -> /dev/usbdev1.2_ep00
