SCO Unix help needed

There are a number of reasons including hardware. You need to check the
logs and look at what are the common factors.

Yes. It is System V. BTW: I've been anti-SCO for well over 10 years,
but I did run SCO Unix on my system about 10 years ago or so. Long
before Darl McBride.
