Virtual Windows Servers on Linux laptop...

Someone else mentioned that VMWare Server is free?   Where is the link 
that shows this?   I just visited the VMWare site and Server ESX offers an 
Evaluate button.   That doesn't tell me it is free...

Inquiring minds want to know...
