Jarod talks about MythTV: how to set it up, and what you can do
with it.

MythTV is a GPL licensed suite of programs that allow you to build
the mythical home media convergence box on your own using Open Source
software and operating systems. MythTV is known to work on Linux and
Mac OS X (PowerPC and Intel). It does not run on Windows.

Jarod discusses MythTV's capabilities, answers questions, and demos
a full MythTV setup on a Shuttle PC with a mix of SDTV and HDTV
pre-recorded content.

 Jarod works at Red Hat, and is co-author of the book "Hacking
MythTV" (ExtremeTech), along with co-authors Ed Tittel, Matthew Wright,
and Justin Korelc.
