I picked up a SnapServer 2000 on eBay with the intention of mirroring
two 300 gb drives. Unfortunately, the box didn't recognize the drives,
and was only able to use 120 gb.
I found a nice drive cage made by Supermicro that I plan to try out; it
holds 5 hotswap SATA drives, and takes up the space of 3 drive bays on
a tower PC.

Add a 4-port SATA card and a set of SATA hard drives, and I should be
all set. I figure I'll use four 300 gb drives, in mirrored pairs, to
make a 600 gb LVM volume group.
