You can get your point across without being rude. In fact, it's more
effective because people will listen to what you say rather than be
offended by how you said it. The BLU mailing list is a "general
discussion list" and not a "Linux support list" even though there is
lots of support for and from Linux users on it. You can be assertive
and merely say that "On the contrary, Linux indeed supports Unicode and
here's why..." and that is more productive.
