Got it.
Yes, it was very confusing, because I was in the process of rebuilding
my new server (again) with SuSE 10, and having trouble with
postfix/uw-imap. I sent an email to the list about it and it bounced,
which, I *knew* had to be a problem on my side.
I did log into the blu server yesterday to send emails to myself from
outside, but I never logged in as root, so I don't believe there was any
way for me to screw up anything.
I just did a history on both servers to confirm.
PS: Got everything working on my end. It should have been blindingly
obvious to me that :
Jan 28 14:56:53 uninew imapd[12990]: SSL error status:
error:02001002:system library:fopen:No such file or directory
Jan 28 14:56:53 uninew imapd[12990]: SSL error status:
error:20074002:BIO routines:FILE_CTRL:system lib
Jan 28 14:56:53 uninew imapd[12990]: SSL error status:
error:140DC002:SSL routines:SSL_CTX_use_certificate_chain_file:system lib
means I didn't create an imapd.pem file, right? I mean, who wouldn't
know that? Duh.
Once again, the Great Hacker's Assistant (Google) found the answer for me.
