Career Opportunity: Systems Administrator

Position Summary
As part of the Technology & Operations team this position will be
responsible for the site maintenance, installation, configuration, and
monitoring of the software and hardware systems that comprise the
Company's new and existing high-visibility, high-traffic customer facing
and company-internal online operations. Location is Waltham, MA.

Primary Responsibilities

    * Install, test, tune, maintain, design and document supporting
systems, utility programs, monitoring tools, etc
    * Maintain systems security and integrity concerning data and
computing resources to comply with company standards.
    * Troubleshoot Linux networking and diagnose TCP/IP, SMTP, SSH,
HTTP, JVM and DNS related issues regarding performance, connectivity,
etc.
    * Rotate 24x7 on-call
    * Quickly adapt to changing technical environment.

Job Requirements

    * 3+ years of experience with Unix/Linux
    * Extensive experience with Apache
    * Extensive experience with firewalls, VPN, DNS, TCP/IP
    * Knowledge of SQL, specifically MySQL and MS-SQL
    * Perl/PHP/Java experience
    * Experience in High Availability/Load Balancing environments a must
    * Experience with high traffic web environments
    * Experience with MS server based systems preferred
    * Self-motivated, thrives in an intense, dynamic environment
    * Network engineering experience desirable
    * Bachelor's Degree preferred.
