One last time, hoping everyone is signed-up again. Here's the posting -
as I've said before, it really is a fun place to work.
========================================================================
We're looking for a self-motivated, very bright system stager.
Position involves the assembly, loading, and performance tuning
of Unix systems, mainly Sun, with some Linux and OSX.
Experience preffered, but this is an entry level position for someone
who has great technical skills, can learn on the fly and thrive in a
fast-paced environment. You must be very sharp, and only need to be told
how to do something once.
This position does require lifting, moving of heavy gear, and some
shipping and receiving. Corrollary roles involve some post-install phone
support, and assisting customers as needed with problems.
========================================================================
This is an ideal position for anyone wishing to learn hardware and
software on Solaris (9 & 10 SPARC), OSX Server, Linux, and a little
Windows. Some *NIX knowledge is preferred, but not required. Hardware
knowledge is also a plus. This _is_ entry-level, but I think it is a
challenging job, just the same. A very good sense of humor helps alot
too - in fact, a bit of insanity can't hurt.
So if you know anyone itching to get into Unix, or just a really hard
worker, send their resume to jobs at napc.com.
Thanks,
Grant M.
