setting up ubuntu dhcp hostname

hi.
i editted my etc network interfaces file and now it is
auto lo
iface lo inet loopback
auto eth0
iface eth0 inet dhcp
hostname tuomas
auto eth1
iface eth1 inet dhcp
auto eth2
iface eth2 inet dhcp
auto ath0
iface ath0 inet dhcp
auto wlan0
iface wlan0 inet dhcp
then i did /etc/init.d/networking restart
i also did your apt-get install openssh-server
my friend showed me how to do ssh and it is neat! can i use remote desktop
from my moms pc when i finish this or can i only do it from linux?
anyway i can do that to my computer but only with its computer address not
its english name :(
