Sudo Problems

This is what mine looks like

ls -l /usr/bin/sudo
---s--x--x 2 root root 97072 Aug 17 17:38 /usr/bin/sudo

Now when I was looking this up on the internet before I mentioned it here,
people said that they did a 
chmod 0755 /
I would try that but it just doesn't seem like that is the right thing to
do...  I mean some things in / have those settings already but to give the
whole thing that does not seem accurate.

ls -l /usr/bin/sudo
---s--x--x  1 root root 93816 Aug 21  2005 /usr/bin/sudo

The sudo binary needs to be owned by root and have its setuid bit set.
