S-Video mini4 vs "regular"?

I am looking to get an S-Video cable for video capture from camcorder and
VHS deck to my PC via a video capture box I have.

One of the options for input on the box is via S-Video.   Both my Sony
Digital/Hi8 camcorder and my VCR have S-Video outputs.

As I've looked around for S-video cables, I've learned there is
male-to-male and mini4 formats.    What is the difference between mini4
and non-mini4?

Which should I get?

The video capture device is an external ADS Tech USBAV701.
