Yes but you can turn that off easily, and I don't think it affects the 
measurements of packet traversal times.

I might be able to get the folks at the other end to try something with 
ttcp or similar, but it's not likely, and in any case as mentioned to 
DSR, what does this tell us that we didn't already know?  We know it's 
slow end to end.  How do we find out why?
