Wait a minute Gordon, according you we shouldn't use HTML in email
because "HTML is a web format", but we should use email for file
transfers? Egads, entire encoding systems had to be invented to allow
binary files to be sent using only ASCII characters - talk about
extending a protocol beyond its design. Oh, by the way, I've attached
the file you've requested, go ahead and open it. Don't worry; I've
scanned it for viruses. <grin> Frankly, I hate attachments. Why
should I be forced to receive and store every multi-megabyte
virus-ridden file that gets sent my way when a hyperlink to a location
using real file transfer protocol will do just fine.

Hmm, looks like a markup tag there. Better be careful ;-)
