Thanks for all the input. It sounds like they're competitive in quality.
Anybody have testimonies about speeds where the modems are capped?
In Quincy with Comcast I'm capped at 30 real Kilobytes up, and 385 real
Kilobytes down. My current package is $46.50 for fees and internet, and
they throw in basic cable (no cable box) for another $8.95. My bills
have been $54.45, and they haven't been charging me for a modem rental
fee, even though they originally claimed they would when I signed up.

Subject: RCN vs. Comcast
Hey everybody:
I've been using Comcast for my cable and internet for at least nine months and
I've been very pleased with the solid service. I'm moving to Somerville at the
end of the month and I have a choice between Comcast and RCN. Has anybody on
the list used RCN, and what was your experience like?
I think Comcast's official ToS say no servers, but I'm running httpd and sshd
and they've never stopped me.
Thanks!
