OT: Voting results in NH

Regarding the initial post, I'd repeat what lots of others have said. I
personally am not either Republican or Democrat, as neither party really
does it for me. I also happen to believe that independents should not be
allowed to vote in party primaries. But, I studiously vote in every
general election that comes along. Does that make me irresponsible?

Also, I'd agree that the US is not a "democracy," in the rigorous sense,
but rather a republic. One of the great things about the Constitution is
how it insulates the lawmaking process from momentary passions, so that
changes must (hopefully) be carefully considered, and also so that
lawmakers may take unpopular actions, which have long-term benefit.

As for this, is it directly aimed at the citizens of this country, or of
all countries in general? It strikes me as fairly arrogant, and a comment
that discredits rather than supports its viewpoint.
