CPU Serial number

I already checked /proc/cpuinfo, it's not there which seems strange to me,
so I was wondering if there was a parameter I have to set to turn it on.
These are not end user boxes.

cat /proc/cpuinfo I believe.
If these are end-user boxes, the CPU id can be spoofed or an invalid ID.
