I received my upgraded modem the other day.
Booted into Windows (which I keep on this machine strictly for this
purpose). Activated the modem, then reconnected by router.
One of the first things I did when I got my Linksys router a few years
ago was to spoof my MAC address into the router. The early models did
not have the additional panel, but it was doable.
