[OT] TIVO

My Tivo is hooked up directly.  I don't subscribe to any premium 
channels or digital service.  It works great.  The only problem is that 
sometimes the television guide data is off.  I had never heard of 
MythTv.  I will have to check it out.

BTW -  I hacked my Tivo.  I put a 160GB hard drive in it.  I get about 
47 hours at best quality and a whopping 172 hours at basic quality.  I 
read about one guy who put two 160GB drives in his.  He gets 344 hours!  
I also added an ethernet card to it so I receive updates over the 
internet rather than through the dialup line.  I plan on installing a 
web server and sshd but that requires that I take it apart.
