Positions 1&2

Two Summer Internship - Positions in JAVA GUI development

Description:

-          4-6 week internship during IAP (possibly through out the 
semester) at $15/hr.

-          Help create Java application interface for Jenzabar's next 
generation java ERP system using Swing and XML

-          Must have interest in application development type of work 
(front-end NOT backend)

Requirements

-          Have programmed or taken a course in java

-          Self motivated

-          Fast learner

-          0-3 years of programming experience





Position 3

Full time - Software Integrator

Description

-          Help install, integrate, test all Jenzabar software 
applications.  Similar to the job description that was sent out for the 
SW integration at Apple.

-          You'll get to play around with

o        Unix terminal application written in PERL/C++ running on HP-ux 
or IBM-AIX with Informix as the database.

o        Powerbuilder/Visual Basic client/server applications running on 
windows with SQL Server 2000 and/or Oracle as the database.

o        Java J2EE applications running on windows and/or unix using BEA 
Weblogic, JBoss as the application servers with Informix and SQL Server 
2000 as the database

o        Microsoft .NET portal application running on windows using IIS 
and SQL Server 2000

o        Data mining/reporting applications running on top of Cognos set 
of software

-          You'll be primary responsible for playing around with 
installation and configuration of these software and help make 
recommendations on how to make it more seamless for the software 
development group.

-          Help troubleshoot complex problems

-          Work with every development team within Jenzabar

Requirements

-          Must be technically proficient in Unix and Windows environment

-          New grad with 1 to 2 years of experience in software industry

-          Strong analytical and problem solving skills with both IT and 
programmer mind set

-          Knowledge of PERL, shell scripting languages



.NET portal development

Position 4

Senior Software Architect

Description

-          Help lead the design of Jenzabar's next generation .NET based 
portal framework for over 700 higher education institutions.

-          You'll be responsible to help set the future technical 
direction of the .NET portal expected to be launched Q4, 2004



Requirements

-          Needs to have at least 6 years of solid development experience

-          Motivated Self-starter

-          Software Genius

-          Easy going (need to work tightly with a fun small team)

-          Loves rapid application development

-          Anal about programming standards and proud of quality of 
programs that you've written.

-          Experienced with Web Technologies

o        HTML, Javascript, VBScript, CSS, XML, XSLT

-          Experienced with Microsoft Technology

o        VB 6.0, VC++, C#, COM/COM+, MTS, ASP, ASPX

-          Experienced with Databases

o        Oracle 8,9i

o        SQL Server 2000

-          Experienced with enterprise application development

o        LDAP/Active Directory

o        Security

o        Microsoft Exchange

o        Web services





Positions 5&6

Senior Software Engineer or Software Engineer in .NET portal development

Similar description as above with fewer years of experience, ideally, 
people that love to dive deeply into the .net framework.





Position 7

Senior Technical Project Manager

Description

-          Will be responsible for managing a team of very experienced 
and seasoned developers (8 people) for the development of Jenzabar's 
next generation ERP system.

Requirements

-          Must be certified or have gone through project management 
training

o        Resource planning

o        Understand the software development life cycle

o        Understand the various project management methodologies

-          Must have management experience

-          Strong technical background or understanding of JAVA, J2EE 
technology
