checking kernel options

Hi All,
I recently spun a 2.4.20 kernel and absent-mindedly forgot to add
fat/dos filesystem support. When I went to mount fd0, I got a "not a
support filesystem" error.
No problem, says I. I'll respin with the support. So, using xconfig, I
made sure I had the support selected for fat, msdos, umsdos and vfat;
not as modules, but compiled-in support. Recompiled and booted new
kernel.
But I still get the same error when I try mounting fd0.
Anyway I can confirm the support is compiled into the kernel?
Or am I missing something else?
Steve
