Can you send your XF86Config file to the list? I suspect that
you are loading the wrong modules/driver and this may be causing
problems. I beleive that xf86cfg defaults to a VESA driver. When
you run xf86cfg you should select the "s3virge" module to load.
To do this, go to the video card on the top and select confgure
video card. It should bring up a menu allowing you to either select
your video card or module. Just select the "s3virge" module.
