If it says "Alkaline" on it, it's probably a replacement pack put in by a service
tech.
Is it glued to the side of the power supply cage? It's a replacement.
If it's plugged into the MB with a short length of wire, it's a replacement pack
and has gone dead. Unplug it, find out who made it, etc.
