Star Office installed as root

For last night's talk, Clem installed Star Office as root, and is unable
to use it when logged in as a non-root user. I've seen this problem
before as well as a solution. I think it was even discussed on this list
a while back. If anyone knows the solution offhand, please send it. I
don't have the time at the moment to research it thoroughly. 

BTW: Sorry for sending this from M$ Outlook Virus Magnet, but they shut
off IMAP temporarily.
