Small Network Setup

Hi all,

I'm setting up the following network. 
The problem is that I can ping 10.0.1.2 and 10.0.1.3 from the router but can't ping 10.0.1.4. I can ping 10.0.1.2 and 10.0.1.3 from PC1 but can't ping 10.0.1.1.
Another problem is that I have to ping 10.0.1.2 and 10.0.1.3 from the router first before pinging 10.0.1.1 from Gateway1 else I'll get Destination Unreachable.
Why is this so?

I'm running ip-masq on the Router with allowing 10.0.0.0/16 to go out to internet.
