hrm..the above is basically what I'm using..except I'm using kernel 2.4.5.

What does "kudzu" do?

Interesting.  I am unable to make a symbolic link with those permissions.
What are the permissions in the directory containing Icv?  If I'm reading
everything correctly, this will be /mnt/cdrom/bin.

Can you make a tar file with just the symbolic link Icv and post that?  I'm
curious if I can untar it...
