Connectivity woes in Boston

This is called a lease. They don't give you a new ip address every three 
days. If you look in your lease database (On SuSE it is in 
/var/state/dhcpd), you will see an expiration date. You dhcp client daemon 
(or pump or whatever you use), will renew the lease. In nearly every case 
you will get the same ip address. I don't recall the last time my ip 
address changed, but it was months ago.
