I do have to say, i am speaking about enterprise/larger grade systems also.
There are tons of hobbyist linux servers going, but most of the corporations
and ISPs I have visited run Fbsd on mission critical machines.

I've personally seen quite the opposite ;-). I think the guys at
Compaq are having a similar experience.
