Anything but Intel

I was running linux PPC on my G3 for a while, but at the time of
installation (about 18 months ago?) It was still pretty new and all the
window managers seemed quite slow. I would like to try out a newer
distro, and buy a new graphix card for the thing.  Currently though, all
my linux boxen are on intel, except one at work, which is some alpha thing.
