imho... from very LIMITED experience....
GNOrpm makes it hard to install packages from the CDROM... I havent been
able to fugure that out...
The few times I have tried to use it, I get errors
the command line "rpm" has worked everytime, with a quick reference to the
man page.

Of course. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and all that.
I've found:
1. GnomeRPM doesn't give me the option of installing required packages after
it checks the RPM file I want to install.
2. It's GUI is cumbersome and unintuitive (sorry, another subjective
judgement!)
3. I can't figure out how to use the search function.
'rpmdrake', on the other hand, has always done what I've wanted with a
minimal
amount of effort. So we all know which one I use....
