I concur. I use an Edimax 2 CPU switch. I had a 17in refurbished Zenith. It
started to lose it's blu sync every once in a while. This did cause some
problems with emacs on my Alpha, so I bought a refurbished monitor, which
has worked flawlessly. The Zenith is upstairs and being used for my
daughter's computer when she is home on vacation. It works fine except the
colors are not altogether pure sometimes. Now since I have 3 computers
downstairs at my desk, I am looking for a 4 port switch. The 4 port version
of the Edimax (CAS-421) is about $139, and the Cybex is about $149
depending where you look. I use a Cybex in the office. The Cybex has an
advantage in that it can be switched from the keyboard.
