What does this log message mean???

I ran a tail -f on my messages this afternoon and noticed this message:

Jun 29 17:02:56 churchill last message repeated 8 times
Jun 29 17:02:57 churchill inetd[410]: netbios-ns/udp server failing (looping),
service terminated

Could someone help out a newbie by pointing me to a very specific spot to look for
something?
