You should get two copies of this, too -- when you're involved in a
discussion, people frequently send directly to you AND copy to the
list and the others engaged in the discussion.  The rationale for this 
is both psychological (it's more personal for an email to be addressed 
TO someone, not to a list) and practical (mail sent directly to you is 
invariably faster than one bobbing through a list server).
