Diamond V330

I just got a Diamond Viper V330, and am having some problems.  I can't
seem to get 1024 (or greater) resolution when running 16bpp or greater.
I've tried a couple other RIVA128 X-servers and had the same problem.
Does anyone here use this card with success?  Or does anyone
have any suggestions?  TIA
