I think that SC is very powerful. I specifically did not deinstall it in the
event I want to use it. I just disabled it. Quite a while ago, when I went
to reinstall SuSE, system commander decided to resize my Winodws partition,
and create a new partition for SuSE without first telling me what it was
going to do. It definititely  is a good boot manager, and I would be still
using it except that booting Linux with it makes booting a 2 step process. I
have LILO set up with 8 boot selections:(3 kernels, single user, multi-user,
GUI, Windows). 

I have not used the Partition Magic boot manager, but as a partition
manager, I much prefer Partition Magic, because the user has a bit more
control.
